Damaged my silk dress when I took it in for dry cleaning and claimed it was ripped when I bought it in. It was a special occasion dress that I had worn twice and it was so badly damaged that it would not have made sense to get it dry cleaned in that state. First there was two of them claiming I was wrong and then they called a third person over as if the whole experience was not intimidating enough.

Terrible customer service- I had 6 blazers dry cleaned and 2 altered. The total amount came to around £100. When I collected my items I didn’t try on the altered blazers but was told that if there were any issues I should bring them back. Both blazers had the side seams taking in- when I tried them at home they were both a bit tight but one was unwearable. I then went away on holiday and have been busy with work. I went in today with 2 jeans to get tailored and I spoke to the lady who runs the place with her husband. She pinned my jeans and we spoke all was ok. I then pulled out the blazer and said that it was done too tight and put it on to show her. She did say that she remembered me. I said I can’t understand how it is so tight as she pinned it and it felt good at the time. She agreed it was too tight and said that she would let it out 1.5 inch’s. I then took the blazer off and went to the till point. She wrote up the charges for the jeans and then said it would be £10 for the blazer. I asked why I was getting charged for the blazer as it was not done correctly and the person who tailored it did it too tight. She then started arguing with me and said that she was the one who tailored it but that it wasn’t her fault. I said, actually it is your fault cause you tailored it and when you pinned it, I was happy with the fit and would not have agreed if it was too tight. She then said that maybe I put on weight! ( I have a very slender muscle build and I haven’t put on weight ever in my life, Still something you shouldnt really say to a customer). She then said why has it taking me so long to come back, I explained I was on holiday and hadn’t had a chance to pop in, also that her husband didn’t say I had to make them aware of any issues within a certain timeframe. She then called her husband and he got involved for a bit. She then said that she would do the blazer and correct it, free of charge- but gave me back my 2 pairs of jeans and told me she wouldn’t do them. Honestly the worst service I’ve had - wanted to charge me for having to fix her mistake, then giving me back the jeans saying she would not do them - basically saying fcuk off- I would be concerned about having tailoring done there as if its wrong you will be paying to fix it!!

I also find them very helpful - I often have to get clothes cleaned last minute and their turn around and standard is always exceptionally high. I'm 23, live in Morden and use them regularly!
